Two lonely souls meet 21st-century style, on an online dating site, but find it hard to really connect in award-winning playwright Shepsu Aakhu's Softly Blue. Staged by the Ma'at Production Association of Afrikan Centered Theatre (MPAACT) at Chicago's Greenhouse Theater, this drama tells the story of Dakota and Sloan, who're both starved for companionship, and yet both have secrets they're afraid to share and trust issues that make it difficult for them to reveal their true selves in this seemingly dangerous digital age.
