Without Trace

Without Trace

The Greenhouse Theater Center
2257 N Lincoln Avenue Chicago

In the not-too-distant future, Trace Sullivan goes missing from his family's inner-city apartment, then returns with a case of amnesia that raises more questions than simply where he was. As his war veteran father becomes more paranoid and his mother, a teacher, more worried, the question remains: What happened to Trace? Without Trace was written by Eric Lockley, an up-and-coming playwright who also wrote Blacken The Bubble, and is directed by Carla Stillwell, who also directed 2008's She Calls up the Sun. Lockley describes Without Trace as an entertaining story that comments on the social and political hurdles still present in America, including gun violence and missing children.
