"...In his new play, given a solid if hesitant premiere by Fine Print, he concocts an equally galvanizing family crisis, but no central drama. Septuagenarian Linda is losing her mind and her home, and her Brady, her fuck-up son and caretaker, hardly cares. Estranged, responsible son Shaun arrives with loads of resentment, a troubled past, and his own adolescent son. While the plotting is somewhat formulaic, the characters’ volatile relationships produce many arresting scenes. But each two-person relationship becomes its own subplot, needlessly stalling the build to the climax."
