"...There's nothing flashy about director Derek Bertelsen's revival of Margaret Edson's 1999 drama about a literature professor dying of ovarian cancer. The simple set does the job of suggesting the setting, a hospital. The unobtrusive direction never gets in the way of Edson's solid, unsentimental script. No one in the cast wows, but everyone is pretty good-and some are excellent. The result, though, is a moving, sometimes harrowing evening of drama."

It is not a date night show nor one for seniors. And if I didn't respect AstonRep's past work, I'd probably pass on seeing Wit since the subject matter, death, doesn't appeal to me. The performance by Alexandra Bennett is worth the admission price."
