"...Bereaved Bible-thumpers and boozers are played with high energy and nuanced timing in Kevin Wiczer's Circle Theatre production, bringing laughs and cringes with mentions of a church mission to "teach African women to wear brassieres" and a miscarriage in a KFC bucket. Will Nifong is, well, explosive as Reverend Hooker, whose Mexican-food-induced digestive issues highlight the funeral scene. But between those memorable bits, the script goes flat and corny."
