Known as the most poetic and non-linear of all of Sarah Kane’s plays, CRAVE was described by Ben Brantley in the New York Times as a lullaby, “a chamber piece for four haunted voices.” Sarah Kane once spoke of her characters in this way, “They’re all just in love...What drives people is need, not the obstacle.” Ms. Kazemi describes CRAVE and indeed all of Sarah Kane’s plays as challenging pieces of theatre to tackle, but adds “anyone who wants to call themselves a theatre artist needs put themselves in a room with Sarah Kane and lock the door.”
