"...Video designer Mike Tutaj turns in his usual excellent work with segments illustrating Harlon’s “Keys to Better Living.” They’re spot-on approximations of cheesy PowerPoint chic that blessedly pop up throughout the show. And Clinger’s an endearing performer; with his wide smile and palpable affection for the audience, he works harder for success than any of the losers he sends up. But his characterizations are brittle stereotypes: the flop-sweat-drenched lounge singer, the oblivious American rhapsodizing about going Provençal during a wine tour."

"...Clinger has a nice wit that leans gently to the cornball; quiet little twists are a specialty. But his conceits--a lounge entertainer with anger issues, a guy using tone-deaf pickup lines at a bar--are too familiar to generate more than mild interest."

"...Clinger is a master performer and instinctive actor who sure knows how to set up and land a comedy bit and character sketch. He moves from an old man to a singer to a neurotic with stealth skill. Clinger is a throw-back comedian who writes his own material. He has terrific sense of satire as he depicts flawed characters with a strong sense of truth therefore emitting both empathy and lots of humor. Clinger’s show is funny and well performed. I’d only wish the clinger put more of an edge on some of the characters. This show is slickly produced an quite funny as Will Clinger’s talent wins us. This is a fine date show."

"...Director Kevin Theis should be commended for setting vivid scenes when the only props available are a chair, a screen and Clinger. Still images of a landscape with subtle sounds of birds chirping and a frame of a cocktail party accompanied by murmurs and glass clinks help provide vivid, yet minimalist, environments for Clinger’s characters to live in."

"...Clinger's silly and witty portrayal of the type-A actor was not only funny but relatable and had me laughing out loud in my seat. Another one of my favorite characters was Clinger's portrayal of a militant DMV instructor who preached unconventional rationale when teaching the laws of the road."
