"...First prize: a trampoline. Though not quite as interactive as some of the kids' shows I've seen at Lifeline, James E. Grote and George Howe's musical still mostly finds the sweet spot between sly wordplay (Ewe's name inevitably leads to a "Who's on First"-style interlude), physical comedy, and the modest but wise message that sometimes the biggest stars are those who make others look good."

"...Director Shole Milos has brought together many of the original team members that created the previous Lifeline KidSeries hit Duck for President!, both on the stage and behind it. Some of the costumes have changed. The one that I miss is Duck’s, but Costume Designer Jana Anderson has visually realized beautiful costumes that according to my 11-year-old daughter, “looked like they were fun to wear”. The book’s illustrator, Betsy Lewin, has done masterful work bringing the story to life on paper and Scenic Designer Alan Donahue captures that same essence on stage. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted more."

Steadstyle Chicago - Highly Recommended

"...The animals are grooving up a storm down on old Farmer Brown's merry little farm as Lifeline Theatre cooks up a family entertainment perfect for audiences of all ages. No matter how many sophisticated adult offerings I get to sample, it is always nice to reconnect with that inner kid in me and join the young theatre-goers around me in discovering the magic of live theatre. And what better place to experience that than this Rogers Park treasure? The current Lifeline KidSeries World Premiere of "Dooby Dooby Moo" may actually be as much fun for adults as the kids. But if you bring a child companion or cover they will doubtless have a terrific time too."
