Chicago Tribune - Recommended

"...Jim Corti’s hit Drury Lane Oakbrook production of “Meet Me in St. Louis” is downtown for the holiday run-up, offering a warm, family musical in old-fashioned vein. Unlike most of the flashier downtown shows, “Meet Me in St. Louis” is a home-grown attraction. And you barely have to leave the mall to reach the lobby."

Time Out Chicago - Somewhat Recommended

"...It’s always a difficult trick when adapting films to compete with indelible performances, and Drury Lane’s production suffers by comparison: While the performers look fabulous and are in generally fine voice, none of them really inhabit their roles with the kind of fierce particularity that Minnelli’s film enjoys."

EpochTimes - Highly Recommended

"...This production is pure "family" entertainment with great songs like "Meet Me In St. Louis", "The Boy Next Door", "The Trolley Song" ( Bang,Bang, Bang, went the trolley), "Skip To My Lou" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane and a book by Hugh Wheeler that takes us back to the early 1900's right before the "Louisiana Purchase Exposition" aka " The World's Fair" in St. Louis. This was a time of happiness and planning for the future- a time when all the world looked rosy and bright ( just a little over 100 years ago)."

Centerstage - Highly Recommended

"...The product of talented director Jim Corti, musical director Margaret James and choreographer Tammy Mader, this production features many of the same actors and production elements of the original, but with additions that make this version a bit different and exciting. But the beautiful original arched sets and festive lighting by Brian Sidney Bembridge and Jesse Klug continue to provide a warm environment for this story."

ChicagoCritic - Highly Recommended

"...Meet Me in St. Louis is straightforward song-and-dance for the seasonal pleasure of the entire family. It has great music, smooth choreography (Tammy Mader), beautiful period costumes (Tatjana Radisic) and a uniformly wonderful cast. For holiday family fun on North Michigan Avenue, Meet Me in St. Louis is hard to beat."
