Daily Herald - Recommended

"...Though not quite a home run, Metropolis' "Damn Yankees" is still a solid hitter more often than not. It's the perfect accompaniment for Chicago baseball fans giddy with playoff fever."

EpochTimes - Highly Recommended

"...Over the years since this complex opened, we have seen many plays- some very strong, some very non-professional. This is the strongest production they have done from beginning to end- the sets(Rachel Moore) are unique and clever ( with walls moving and rooms sliding in), Solid direction by Chris LoDuca using the small stage to its best advantage, even having the musicians be onstage, but almost out of sight, marvelous choreography by Kristen Gurbach Jacobson and dynamite costuming by Elizabeth Wislar."

Al Bresloff

Steadstyle Chicago - Highly Recommended

"...It's a big and impressive production, with lively choreography from Kristen Gurbach Jacobson, lusty vocals and a crack onstage band under Daniel Singer's musical direction, and clever pop-out scenery by Rachelle Moore Stadt. Director Chris LoDuca misses no opportunity to get the audience in the mood for America's favorite obsession."
