Review Round-Up
| Chicago Reader - Somewhat Recommended
"...Tom Arvetis's staging of Jose Cruz Gonzalez's new play for young adults contains some riveting images, notably one of the dead rising out of their graves and staggering away. But this ghost story, about an adolescent Latina who believes an empty lot near her home may be haunted, moves too slowly to be suspenseful."
Steadstyle Chicago - Somewhat Recommended
"...The story is told through part realism and part animated action to embellish the story. Creative use of spectacle representing a house burned to the ground by riots through a scrim on stage doesn't really appear until the end to create a dramatic arc. It was useful and enjoyable to see but felt like too little too late to engage me in the storyline."
