  Review Round-Up

Chicago Reader - Somewhat Recommended

"...What begins as an intriguing study of erotic bondage veers into a bathetic, explicitly kinky soap opera with a contrived twist ending that strains credibility. Director Matt Trucano's spotty bare-bones staging lacks a convincing dramatic arc, but Adrian Gonzalez's intense yet controlled performance as the beautiful "rent boy" merits attention."

ChicagoCritic - Recommended

"...Filled with heart-wrenching confessionals and tasteful sexuality, Happy Endings Are Extra dramatizes how sexual perversity can destroy a relationship and eventually lead to self-destruction. This is a well written and well acted drama that contains several plot twists that raises the complexity of sexual addiction."
