My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra Reviews
Around The Town Chicago- Highly Recommended
"... What’s not to love? Theatre at the Center’s new revue, “My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra” is a jazzy gem of an evening. Pick your favorite Sinatra tune, I’m pretty sure they’ll be singing it. Four of Chicago’s best singers, accompanied by a three-piece combo, will have you snapping your fingers (tapping your toes is a given!). I’ve never been a Sinatra fan – I think because my mom was such a fan – but I really enjoyed “My Way”."
Chicagoland Musical Theatre- Recommended
"...Interspersing Sinatra stories throughout the robust songbook, Chicagoland favorite George Keating and partner McKinley Carter play well off one another, as do members of the younger couple, the magnificent Christine Mild (the strongest vocalist in the quartet) and newcomer Andres Enriquez, who has taken over for Eric A. Lewis in this production. While there is no distinct plot, the character’s actions create audience interest in attempting to figure out the two couples’ relationships. That’s a tribute to Director/Choreographer Brenda Didier‘s deft touch."
