Things couldn't get worse for poor James Henry Trotter. Due to a freak rhinoceros accident in the marketplace that left him orphaned, James has been forced to live as a servant for his two cruel aunties, Sponge and Spiker. But when a mysterious man appears with the ingredients to make all James's wishes comes true, James finds himself inside the pit of a giant peach with an unexpected group of insect friends and a great adventure ahead! Filament Theatre uses music, puppets, and circus feats to create this imaginative retelling of Roald Dahl's whimsical classic.

"...The entire production is inventive, filled with humor and adventure, and sure to hold the interest of youngsters of all ages. Whether or not familiar with Roald Dahl’s delightful novel, this production will captivate family audiences with its unexpected creativity and unique comedy. Enhanced by Noel Nuntzinger’s colorful, cleverly-designed costumes (the multi-legged Centipede takes the prize), Andrew Marchetti’s innovative puppets and props and Matthew Chapman’s evocative sound design, this is an enchanting, much-welcome winter treat that will captivate audiences of all ages."
