Improvised Sondheim Project at MCL Chicago

Using no scripts, no sheet music and no pre-planning, the talented performers of MCL Chicago craft completely improvised musicals in the style of legendary playwright and composer Stephen Sondheim (Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd). At the top of each show, the cast will ask the audience for a suggestion upon which they will create a brand new, never-before-seen musical using just their improvisational wits and an abiding love for Sondheim's unbeatable body of work.
