Exit at The Greenhouse Theater Center

See the world through the eyes of Lucy, a woman with bipolar disorder, as she exposes the private wars we're all waging just beneath the surface. Using music, movement and theater, the Greenhouse Theater Center ensemble aims to remove the stigma that surrounds mental illness and create a platform for discussion. In this genre-defying work, six performers are joined by two dancers who personify Lucy's inner plight for normality, creating a visual representation of her personal turmoil. With Lucy as a common denominator, the characters in Exit each demonstrate how we create our own illusions of happiness, stifling our ability to feel fear -- and love -- in the process.
