Hubris Productions, tenant and community partner of Center on Halsted, is comprised of friends from various parts of the country who found each other and decided there was no better place to make an artistic home than in Chicago. Together, they have combined acting, directing, and technical experience spanning more than five decades. Hubris chooses to present plays that speak to us, move us, or amuse us, in the belief they will touch a chord with our audience as well. Hubris Productions will engage, challenge and inspire the community to acknowledge the diversity in the world around us. Through their education and outreach programs, new play development and main stage productions, they create an ongoing dialogue about social inclusiveness.
