You won't find any tutus or graceful ballet leaps in this light-hearted adaptation of the Nutcracker. You will experience the magic of the original fairy tale, plus loads of laughter. Piccolo Theatre's Clara & the Nutcracker is performed panto-style -- a British holiday theater tradition -- and you can expect lots of physical humor, audience participation, prat falls, goofy songs, memorable characters and sub-par "ballet" dancing. Join Clara and her two uncles Fritz and Drosselmeyer as they journey to the Land of Sweets on an amazing adventure. Along the way, you'll encounter the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Nutcracker Prince while saving Princess Marie from the Rat King and his bumbling cronies.
