Escape from the streets of Des Plaines to the glittering underworld of pre-WWII Berlin as re-created inside Big Noise Theatre at Prairie Lakes. Come and join the fun in the infamous Kit Kat Klub, where the music is always tantalizing and the drinks flow endlessly. Within the club, lives intertwine as a cabaret singer, an ex-pat American writer and other misfits and outcasts of Weimar-era Berlin come together to escape the sinister shadow of World War II. The hedonistic world of the cabaret offers a refuge from a changing society where their kind is less than welcome and dark forces threaten to end the party forever. Led by the enigmatic Emcee and charismatic singer Sally Bowles, the colorful characters of this Kander and Ebb masterpiece are eager to entertain you with sexy musical numbers, including "Don't Tell Mama," "Willkommen" and of course "Cabaret."
