Triton Talents seeks submissions for roles in the Chicago Area Premiere of BOTH SIDES OF FAMOUS LOVE AFFAIR:THE JACKIE MASON MUSICAL.

Based on the offbeat true ten-year romance of legendary comic Jackie Mason, who had eight Broadway one-man shows. The musical-comedy was on OffBroadway for three years and features Jackie Mason's real life daughter comic Sheba Mason playing her mother and AEA actor, David R. Gordon as Jackie Mason. Initial auditions will be held via FaceTime, Skype, or video submissions.

Character Descriptions:
Wooley the Shlepalong - 35-60, Jackie's cocky sidekick. Must sing.

Rosa- 35-65 Coffee shop waitress with "attitude". Must sing and move well. Plump or bone-thin. No nudity, but comic actress with no modesty preferred.

Nelson Zee - Disgruntled fan, weirdo; Legit voice. Bari/Tenor

Jackie Mason understudy - watch youtube videos circa 1980-1990 and be prepared to impersonate. Must sing well

All ethnic groups are welcome to submit.

Time Commitment:

Scattered Rehearsals: October 2-October 8
Mandatory Rehearsals Tech Week: Oct 9-Oct 11
Previews: October 12
Opening: October 13
Run Thursday-Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm
Close October 22. Possible extension October 26-October 29
