Description:

Warren Johnson, a veteran, enjoys his solitude and secrets. When a reporter shows up on Warren's doorstep with a photograph of two coal miners, his old wounds open. It forces him to confront the deep dark secret he thought he buried in the old mining town he used to live in. As the journalist investigates further, the story unravels revealing Mr. Johnson's tales of war, death, dreams, and above all love. Opening up about his wartime past we fall into a time where some social issues are still too taboo to whisper about and happiness has an outline for success. Connecting with past relationships and great loves, we see Warren following his dreams, soaring around the world to fight for his heart. At the conclusion of the war Warren returns home to find that time doesn't stand still and life forces people to abandon what they believe to survive. As Warren's story is being recorded, the journalist finds what honest sacrifice and pure love mean, especially if that story ends in a coal mine alone...
