MCL Chicago is proud to announce Auditions for this original Golden Girls Musical. Composer and writer Jeff Bouthiette has returned to his beloved golden Ladies for a new Musical Comedy chapter following his first musical, "Miami Nice" in 2013.

Character Breakdown:
DOROTHY ZBORNAK - a giant, masculine woman in her 50's. Played by a man.

SOPHIA PETRILLO - a tiny, 83-year-old woman. Dorothy's mother. Played by a woman.

ROSE NYLUND - an unintelligent blonde Minnesotan in her 50's. Played by a man.

BLANCHE DEVEREAUX - a beautiful, vain Souther woman in her 50's. Played by a man.

STAN ZBORNAK - a bald putz in his 50's. Played by a woman.

ADDITIONAL MALE ROLES - played by women

Time Commitment:

Performance Dates
Fridays and Saturdays 8pm Sept 15th- October 7th. Show runs four weekends.

Rehearsal Availability
Rehearsals will take place Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoons and Monday nights (exact time TBD by performer's schedule). Rehearsals will start Saturday 15th.

Material To Prepare:

Please bring a Headshot and Resume and be ready to sing the Theme Song from the original Golden Girls. (Make it your own and have fun)
ADDITIONAL sides will be provided for cold readings.
