James Downing Theatre is holding open auditions for "Old Ringers", written by Joe Simonelli, directed by Rhys Read.

In this hilarious comedy, Joe Simonelli provides a timely take on how five down on their luck seniors try to cope with a shrinking economy and their shrinking pocketbooks by opening up a home phone sex service.

Auditions will be held July 24 and 25 from 7PM - 9PM at James Downing Theatre, 6740 N. Oliphant, Chicago, IL 60631 (Lower level back entrance of Edison Park United Methodist Church, by the playground). Please bring a headshot and resume. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Auditions are open, no appointment necessary. Callbacks will be held July 26. The show runs Saturdays and Sundays, September 9-24. There is no pay.
