Steel Beam Theatre, a non-for-profit theatre in downtown St. Charles, announces auditions for Fairways, a musical about honesty, love and of course, golf! Directed by Donna Steele, this show had its world premiere at Steel Beam Theatre in 2006 to excellent reviews and sold out houses. This new production will feature two returning original cast members, Joe Billquist of St. Charles, and Dana Teichart of Geneva.
In addition we seek:
3 male actors 40's to 60's
1 male actor age 20's-30's
2 female actors age 50-60
3 female actors late 20's-30's
and a high school age boy to play the caddie.
All should be strong singers; golfing ability a plus! Adult actors will be paid a stipend, and 2 complimentary tickets.
Please prepare 16 bars of a standard musical comedy song; you may be asked for a second selection. Readings will be held from the script.
