Description: Donald Margulies uncovers the layers of a relationship between a photojournalist and foreign correspondent-once addicted to the adrenaline of documenting the atrocities of war, and now grounded in the couple's Brooklyn loft. Sarah, a photo journalist who has returned from covering the Iraq war after being injured by a roadside bomb, and her reporter boyfriend James who is swamped by guilt after leaving Sarah alone in Iraq. They receive a visit from their friend Richard, a photo editor, who introduces them to his new girlfriend Mandy, who is much younger than he. The play focuses on their relationships and Sarah and James' prospects at a more conventional life.

1 Male Identifying actor to play Richard: 50-65 yrs., photo editor, close friend to Sarah and James. In a new relationship with a much younger woman - Mandy. Although he is getting older in his life, he has been given a fresh start of sorts, and is embracing a new found vitality and urgency to live his new life unapologetically.

1 Female Identifying actor to play Mandy: Mid 20's. an event planner, new, much younger girlfriend to Richard. Her views on life and the world are much different than those of Sarah, James, and Richard. And she does not stay quiet with her convictions; especially as they conflict with those of Sarah.
