CCT seeks a 9-11 year old girl to alternate the role of Giselle in our upcoming production of The Year I Didn't Go To School, directed by Lookingglass Artistic Director Heidi Stillman, Giselle - Female -- Age 9-11 A cheerful young artist who misses school for a year to travel with her family to Italy in a homemade circus. A central role, so the actor should have strong narrative abilities. Must be able to sing, and must have some gymnastics or circus experience.
Auditions will be held at The Actors' Gymnasium 927 Noyes St, Evanston, IL 60201
First Rehearsal - Monday 2/6
Tech - 2/23 - 2/26 Previews - 2/28-3/3
Opening - 3/4
Closing - 3/19
Extension Closing - 3/26
Rehearsal and performances are during the day. Alternate will have 3-5 performances per week.
A side will be provided. Please prepare a song to perform, unaccompanied, and be ready to do some circus arts.
