In this brilliant and powerful drama, an openly gay college student is found savagely beaten and left to die. This deeply moving, thought-provoking theatre piece chronicles a community's reaction to the events following the death of Matthew Shephard. This is their true story of hope, courage and self-reflection.

Directed by Julie Rodgers-Baker and Produced by Dave Dolnics and Debi Gits-Joseph

The director is seeking ten or more versatile actors and actresses of all ethnicities and ages (need to look at least 21) to portray over sixty characters. The Laramie Project deals with mature subject matter and uses strong language. Actors are asked to memorize a one to three minute monologue from the show and there will be cold readings from the script.
