Otherworld Theatre Company Presents The Rogue Aviator by Nick Izzo, directed by Tiffany Keane Schaefer

The Rogue Aviator is the world premiere of an epic steampunk adventure that takes place on Olympus, a floating city that hovers above America in the early 1920s. The Rogue Aviator features a large cast and actors that will be playing multiple roles. Lead roles include but are not limited to...

Ellie McCloud F (25-35): The Rogue Aviator. A pilot in her own right, and the protagonist in our tale. She is a loner with the spirit of an idealist.

Child Ellie McCloud F (9-14): Ellie as a child in flashback scenes.

Duke McCloud M (40-60): The true ruler of Olympus- using his military might to shroud Olympus under his own moral code.

Mabel F (20-25): Bright-eyed and eager to please. Ellie's second in command. A bit of a drinker, heart of gold and loyal to a fault.

Tilly F (30-45): Ellie's Mechanic. No nonsense, a little rough around the edges. She has had to make do with very little.

Annabel F (40-60): The First Female pilot and "Rogue Aviator". Ellie's mentor- lively and jovial with a dark streak.

Lucius M (25-40): A charismatic arms and airships dealer who works on both sides of the law. Cunning and sly.

Again, you may not see your type above, but please feel free to audition anyway. There are many roles to be filled.

Rehearsals will begin in early April. Tech beings June 5th with shows running June- the first week of July Thursday-Sunday at The Edge Theatre (5451 North Broadway, Chicago).
