Auditions for Montana Shakespeare in the Parks' 2017 season

In 2017, Montana Shakes!, the elementary outreach tour will employ three actor-educators for a fourteen-week tour (play, directed by Doug MacIntyre, and theatrical workshops) that begins rehearsals on Feb. 15. Starting salaries are $420/week plus housing and per diem while on the road. We are particularly looking for actor-educators who have the experience, interest and ability to be effective teachers as well as actors

Shakespeare in the Parks will employ 10 actors for a fifteen-week season that includes rehearsals and a statewide tour. Two plays rehearse for five weeks starting May 24 and then tour the state for a ten-week period ending September 6th. Starting salaries are $410/week plus per diem while on tour. This year's season will be Macbeth directed by Kevin Asselin and You Never Can Tell directed by William Brown.

The 2017 Shakespeare in the Schools tour will employ 8 actors for a thirteen-week season that also includes rehearsals and a statewide tour. The production (title TBA), will rehearse for three weeks during which time the actors will also receive training in workshop presentation beginning September 18, 2017 and then tour for an eleven-week period ending December 22nd. We are particularly looking for actor-educators who have the experience, interest and ability to be effective teachers as well as actors. Starting salaries are $420/week plus per diem while on tour.
