Face to Face Productions, an award-winning Chicago-based educational theatre company seeks a non-equity male actor with:

-A strong tenor/high baritone voice (all productions are musicals)

-Ability to move well (simple tap routine, stilt walking on low stilts)

-Excellent people-skills

-Ability to play a variety of characters (including 5th grade student, Abe Lincoln, Cleopatra to name a few) in rotating rep

-Ability to lift, move and assemble sets

-Must be 5' 10" or shorter

You must:
-Enjoy performing entertaining and challenging musicals for young audiences

-Have a strong, positive work ethic with a proven track record of reliabilty

-Supply your own reliable transportation (expenses reimbursed)

-Be available Monday thru Friday during school hours, September through May, for performances at elementary schools in the Chicagoland area.

-Be available for occassional weekend, evening and out-of-town performances (within the IL, WI and MI area) with adequate notice

Salary range from $10,500 to $15,000 (for roughly 125 performances) with a $1000 bonus upon completion of the season (pay is on a per performance basis). Paid rehearsals.
