Elgin Theatre Company
A Christmas Carol

Pay: No Pay

Description:

Elgin Theatre Company Announces Auditions for A Christmas Carol.

Synopsis: The classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old man who believes that Christmas is just an excuse for people to miss work and for idle people to expect handouts. He doesn't believe in all of the good cheer and charity that the season promotes, and he makes sure everyone knows it. With the help of the ghost of his former business partner, Scrooge is visited by ghosts from the past, the present and the future, to learn the true meaning of Christmas.

This is a staged reading, in the style of a 1940's radio show.

Cast Needed:
As this production of A Christmas Carol is the radio play version, we are looking for voice acting. Because of the numerous voices needed, each actor cast must be versatile and be able to read multiple roles, effectively changing the sound of their voice for each character.
