Big Noise Theatre Company, a division of Winnetka Theatre, announces auditions for The Mousetrap on Wednesday, October 5 and Thursday, October 6 between 7:00 and 9:30pm. Callbacks, if needed, are Monday, October 10, 2016. Auditions are at Des Plaines Prairie Lakes Theatre, 515 E Thacker/Dempster, Des Plaines, IL.

Synopsis: A group of strangers is stranded at a guest house during a blizzard. A policeman arrives by skies, tracking the trail of a suspected killer to the guest house. Rattling skeletons from the past, he probes the backgrounds of all present and then-murder! Will the criminal be revealed before another victim is caught in the mousetrap? Another famous Agatha Christie switch finish!

Mollie Ralston-(Female, 25-30s): Wife of Giles, the pretty, young co-owner of an estate recently converted into a guest house.

Giles Ralston-(Male, 25-30s): Mollie's attractive but arrogant husband of one year.

Christopher Wren-(Male, 25-30s): A flighty and neurotic young architect staying at the guest house.

Mrs. Boyle-(Female, 45-60): Stern, imposing, and generally unpleasant guest.

Major Metcalf-(Male, 40-55): Typical retired British military officer, square-shouldered and taciturn.

Miss Casewell-(Female, 25-30s): A bit mannish, she keeps herself mysteriously aloof from the other guests.

Mr. Paravicini-(Male, 50-65): An unexpected guest, an older foreigner who moves with the energy of a much younger man. Italian accent.

Detective Sergeant Trotter-(Male, 25-30s): Smart and in control, he is a late arrival, trying to establish a connection between the guests and a murderer from another location likely to strike again.
