The Comedy Dance Collective is a group of current, former, and almost dancers who celebrate movement-based comedy. The C:DC is holding general auditions for new Company Members and Contributors. Company Members will rehearse regularly and perform in all larger shows. Contributors will join for one-off shows and as understudies as needed. The C:DC is looking to cast the following:
-4 Company Members (first full show will be last two weekends of October)
-5-8 Contributors
The C:DC is seeking performers who are:
-comfortable with movement!
-enjoy creating physical-based work!
-collaborative!
-experienced with sketch comedy pitching and writing!
All skin colors, weights, heights, sizes, gender identities, hair lengths (not exclusive to the hair on your head), number of tattoos, zodiac signs, pet preferences, senses of humor, and ability levels welcome. Everyone is invited to join the fun. Everyone!!!
The audition will operate like a workshop and will consist of short form improv, physical games, and choreography. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, bring water, and come prepared to have fun!

STEP 1: Please submit headshot, resume, and a comedic script that you've written (monologue or scene) to comedydancecollective@gmail.com by 11:59pm on August 1, 2016. Subject line should read:
"[Your Full Name] / [Part You're Auditioning For]" -- i.e. "Sarah Smith / Contributor"
STEP 2: If selected, you will receive an email inviting you to audition in person.
STEP 3: Attend audition on Sunday, August 7 from 3-6pm.
