Description:

This is a remount of Quest's Award winning production by Andrew Park and Scott Lamps. The production illustrates our nation's history through a series of short scenes and musical vignettes. The production incorporates American music from several decades, combined with Quest's unique visual style.

Quest Theatre Ensemble is dedicated to being the People's theatre of Chicago by creating productions that Inform, Delight, Inspire and Unite. Committed to making theater accessible to everyone, the Ensemble chooses stories that have universal appeal and finds innovative ways to engage the community.

Auditions and callbacks will be held at Quest Theatre's resident rehearsal and performance space at 1609 West Gregory-Chicago, IL 60640.

Time Commitment:

Rehearsals: August 22-September 16 Mon-Thurs 7pm-10pm; Sat-Sun 1pm-5pm
Tech: September 17-September 29 Mon, Wed-Fri 7pm-11pm; Sat-Sun 10am-6pm
Performances: September 30-November 6 Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 2pm & 8pm; Sundays at 2pm

Material To Prepare:

Prepare a 1-minute monologue and 32 bars of music by an American composer. Pop, music theatre, folk, blues all okay. Bring a headshot/resume and sheet music in your key. All ethnicities are strongly encouraged to audition.
