We are seeking submissions for our General auditions. We are seeking Non-Equity actors off all backgrounds, races, gender identities and ages. We pay a rehearsal stipend as well as a competitive per-performance rate.

This season we will be producing five diverse works, comprised of Chicago premiere adaptations and family favorites, at three different venues, all throughout the year. At this time, we would love to consider you for all of our productions, so even if you are only available for one of the shows, we are asking that you come in for us! The shows require a variety of skills, including puppetry and musical instruments, and range from full musicals to straight plays. At this time, we are asking all auditioners to prepare one contemporary monologue (no more than 90 seconds) but if you also sing, you can prepare one 16 bar song and one contemporary monologue. Please bring your book as we might ask to see some more!

All shows typically rehearse Sunday through Thursday evenings. Morning performance schedules vary depending on venue.

We are holding auditions on Thursday, June 2nd from 12 pm to 8 pm and Monday 6th from 1 pm to 8 pm. Please respond with your availability during that time and we will try to schedule you an appointment. An accompanist will be provided. We will also need one headshot and resume.

Auditions will be held at either The Little Theater, located at 2933 N Southport Avenue across the street from the Athenaeum. The Athenaeum is a 10 minute walk from the Wellington Brownline.
