The Hypocrites seek male actors of color, 30s and up, for the role of IVAN. This track is a singer (baritone) who also plays or is willing to learn an instrument -- anything but piano. The role is usually a wicked Stepmother. Will do anything he can to gain advantage for his true daughters. Machiavellian and misguided. But also kind of a charming disheveled mess.
Auditions will be held at The Hypocrites, 4201 N Ravenswood

Previews: November 11-19 (rehearsals continue throughout; Nov 14/15 off)
Opens: November 20 (regular run is Fri/Sat at 8; Sat/Sun at 3)
