Casting "Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera," a musical dark comedy with heart based on the infamous Harding/Kerrigan 'knee whack' ice skating scandal. Their story is beyond simple satire; the level of absurdity and melodrama in the 'real' events is already so high. "Tonya & Nancy" captures all that in a comic and compelling way. The violence of the story is dealt with realistically and captures the poignancy of these 'two girls going for the gold,' their lives and dreams colliding in a spectacular tragi-comic scandal.
