Polemic Theater Company is holding auditions for its Premier production of Thee Trinity by Rick Roberts.

Thee Trinity, a World Premier, is a satirical, irreverent look at history, religion and science, which portrays The Holy Trinity and several Archangels as a dysfunctional family debating the future of humanity. Performances will be at the Royal George Gallery Space and will run from August 27 through September 24 with a possible one week extension. Rehearsals will begin July 18.

Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, June 5, from 4 pm - 9 pm and Monday, June 6, from 7 pm - 10 pm. Callbacks will be Tuesday, June 7, from 6 pm - 10 pm. Auditions and Callbacks will be held at Vagabond Studios at 4001 N. Ravenswood. We are seeking a multi-cultural cast.

Character Breakdown:

Jay: 30's. Jesus as the put-upon middle child. The Peacemaker.

Lucy: 30 - 50. Seductive, Manipulative, biting humor. Lucifer as the aggressive older sibling.

Gabriel: 20's - 34's male. Gabriel as the eager-to-please, yet campy, wise-cracking secretary.

Michael: 30's - 50's male. Strong, conservative, reactionary type. The enforcer.

Albert Einstein: 50's - 60's. Science driven, pragmatic, but whimsical and humorous. Must be able to do a German accent.

Oscar Wilde: 40's. Intelligent and curious. The observer. Must be able to carry upper Irish accent.

Osama Bin Laden: 40 - 60. Aggressive, fervent and defensive.
