Lantern Theatre is seeking two grade school students for the roles of JANE and MICHAEL BANKS its summer production of Mary Poppins. We will ask you to sing 16-32 bars (about a verse or two) of a Disney, Sherman Brothers, or similar musical theatre song. We welcome songs from Mary Poppins as well. If possible, bring piano sheet music for our music director to accompany you with. If we need to see more of anyone auditioning, we will ask you to return the next day for a callback. There, we will have you prepare specific scenes and songs from the show.

Seeking:
JANE BANKS (to play 9-13) is the high-spirited daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Banks. She is bright and precocious but can be willful and inclined to snobbishness.

MICHAEL BANKS (to play 7-11) is the cute and cheeky son of Mr. and Mrs. Banks. Excitable and naughty, he adores his father and tries to be like him.

Audition Date, Time, and Location: The audition is Saturday, May 28, 2016 and is located in Marist High School's RedHawk Theater at 4200 W. 115th St., Chicago, IL 60655. The doors will open for the JANE AND MICHAEL BANKS AUDITION at 10am. This audition will run until 12pm. All auditions will operate on a first come, first served basis.

Callback Date, Time, and Location:
The callback for this show is on Sunday, May 29, 2016 from 9am - 12pm. It will also be held at Marist High School's RedHawk Theater at 4200 W. 115th St., Chicago, IL 60655. If invited, you will be told when to arrive and what specifically to prepare.
