Artemisia will hold auditions for its 2016-17 Theatre Season. AEA, EMC and Non-Equity actors are encouraged to audition, but EMC and Non-Equity actors will be seen only after all attending AEA actors have auditioned. All positions are paid. Artemisia produces its annual Fall Festival under AEA Staged Reading code. SHREWISH & VISTING will be produced under an AEA Chicago Area Theatre Tier 1 Contract.
Men and Women of all ages, types and ethnic backgrounds, including transgender actors, are sought for Artemisia's Fall Festival 2016, SHREWISH and the world premiere of VISITING.
Pay: AEA Actors are hired under a Chicago Area Theatre Tier 1 Contract. EMC & Non-Equity Actors are paid per project.
Please prepare a two-minute contemporary monologue from a play written after 1970 and a two-minute Shakespeare, nonverse comedy preferred.
