Synopsis: Welcome to the infamous Kit Kat Klub, where the Emcee, Sally Bowles, and a raucous ensemble take the stage nightly to tantalize the crowd-and leave their troubles outside. But as life in pre-WWII Germany grows more uncertain, will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through their dangerous times?

The Emcee-(Male, any age) Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub.
Sally Bowles-(Female, 18-35) The headlining British singer at the Kit Kat Klub.
Clifford Bradshaw-(Male, 20-35) An American writer travelling through Berlin.
Fraulein Schneider-(Female, 45-70) An older woman who runs the boarding house where Cliff and Sally live.
Herr Schulz-(Male, 45-70) A Jewish fruit vendor who falls in love with Fraulein Schneider.
Ernst Ludwig-(Male, 25-40) A German who befriends Cliff in Berlin.
Fraulein Kost-(Female, 18-30)
A prostitute who rents at Fraulein Schneider's. Kit Kat Girls/Ensemble-(Male/Female, all ages)
Performers, sailors, and others.
Cabaret will perform at Prairie Lakes Theater, Des Plaines from April 22 to May 8, 2016.
Prepare 32 bars of your best, in the style of the show or a song from the show. Have a second song if asked. Bring picture, resume, music, and DANCE SHOES. Accompanist provided.
