The Drinking & Writing Theater is holding general auditions seeking writers/performers for our ensemble. The Drinking & Writing Theater, founded by Neo-Futurist alumni, exists to preserve the spirit and devotion of the hard drinking writer and to uphold the rituals of their creativity and passion for the written word.

For the first round of auditions, instead of making you come to us, we're asking you to submit a video. There are two parts! For the first part, please answer the following questions:

1. What do you hate about auditioning?
2. Which literary figure strikes your fancy, and why?
3. What does the concept of drinking and writing mean to you?

In addition to answering the questions, please choose one of the following pieces and interpret any way you want. We're not looking for someone to sit in front of the computer and read the text. Surprise us, be creative!
