Theatre Lumina
Song of Home

Pay: No Pay

Description:

Theatre Lumina seeks actors for a fall production called Song of Home, a devised project based on the ongoing refugee crisis in Europe. As millions of people flee violence in Africa and the Middle East, the European Union is struggling to handle masses of people struggling for safety. The project will place RITUAL and ENSEMBLE at the forefront, as we attempt to give voice to those in search of asylum. Directed by Monica Payne.

TYPES:
Actors of all ages, types, and ethnicities (especially African American, Middle Eastern, Asian, and Latina/o) are encouraged to submit. In addition to strong actors who can move, we are also seeking several actor-musicians who will play/sing music throughout the show. Viewpoints and/or Meisner training is a bonus. Non-Equity.
