Mudlark Theater is looking to cast two young adults (preferably
between the ages of 20-30) in a new production of TREASURE ISLAND that
will take place at the Noyes St. Theater (formally Next Theatre) and
feature a talented group of teenagers. There is a competitive stipend
available for these roles, as well as a tremendous opportunity to form
a relationship with a company that is blurring the lines between
professional and youth theater. Over the years, Mudlark has regularly
employed professional adult actors alongside its teenage stars
(Antigone, The Cherry Orchard, A Christmas Carol, etc.) to produce
compelling and dynamic storytelling.
Pay: Stipend negotiable ($175-$350 depending on rehearsal availability)
PERFORMANCES: October 23-25, 29-Nov. 1st (Saturday/Sunday matinees)
REHEARSAL STARTS: Wednesday, Sept. 9
REHEARSAL DAYS: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 4:30pm-6:30pm, Saturdays 11am-1:30pm
REHEARSAL VENUE: 1417 Hinman, Evanston, IL
PERFORMANCE VENUE: Noyes Street Theater, Evanston, IL
REHEARSAL NOTE: Actor would not be needed for ALL rehearsals. We can
work around some conflicts.
