The Make Ready is a reading series that gives playwrights a chance to hear their work read out loud in front of an audience. We've got a wide variety of pieces featuring everything from aging rockers to a prohibition era gangster to a couple of office workers having a strange day.
No audition necessary. Just arrive at *6:30pm* and let us know you'd like to be a reader.
Each piece is about 10 pages long and either a complete play or an excerpt from a play. There'll be 7 or 8 pieces in total. All pieces are cast on the evening and given a cold read. And it's totally free!
