Porchlight Music Theatre announces non-union auditions for FAR FROM HEAVEN. If you came to our recent season general auditions, you need not attend this call. However, if you are specifically interested in FAR FROM HEAVEN and you have something new you would like to present, you are certainly welcome to attend this call. AEA EMC members should also consider the option of attending the August 31st Equity EPA instead.
The role of "Cathy Whitaker" has been cast. All other roles available. Seeking a diverse cast of all ages. Especially looking for an African American girl, approx 10 years old and a Caucasian boy and girl, approx 10 years old.
Auditions will be held at Porchlight Music Theatre Production Office 4200 W. Diversey Chicago, IL 60639
1st rehearsal: Jan 4 tech start: Jan 31 1st preview: Feb 5 Opening Night: Feb 9 Close: Mar 13
Please prepare 32 bars that best showcase your voice in the style of the show. Have an additional song prepared. Please bring your book. An accompanist will be provided.
