Barrel of Monkeys is seeking theatre artists who are proficient in piano. Barrel of Monkeys is specifically looking for actors who are musicians and musicians who are actors who are skilled in sketch underscoring, musical accompaniment, and/or composing.
Barrel of Monkeys teaches creative writing workshops in Chicago Public Schools, and in our own after-school program. Our Ensemble adapts the stories into sketches and songs which are performed for the school. The kids become stars, and the world is saved. Barrel of Monkeys is seeking musicians to join our diverse company who have great collaborative skills, improvisation abilities, and a willingness to wear space helmets and tutus for the entertainment of our young authors.
Pay: $120-$150/show
