When a questionable donation throws the future of an American university into upheaval, a graduate student who claims to be interested in nothing gets yanked into the conflict and discovers the stakes may be far more than academic. In a story narrated by none other than Bertolt Brecht, with stops in Renaissance Italy, Hollywood, Ancient Greece, the Garden of Eden, and even a galaxy far, far away, Outrage questions the necessity of martyrdom, mentorship, curiosity, and the pursuit of truth in the stories we tell.
