Metropolis Performing Arts Centre is holding auditions for our 15th Anniversary Season production of John Buchan's The 39 Steps, directed by David Belew.

Seeking adult actors of all types with strong comedic acting skills. Character Descriptions: Richard Hannay, age 30-40, is a classic leading man type. The actor needs to be able to handle physical comedy while maintaining an air of rugged British manliness. The Ingenue, age 25-35, female, plays three different characters through the show. Requires the ability to handle physical comedy and artfully pull off three different accents. The 2 Clowns, any age, male or female, play multiple characters throughout the show. These actors need to be able to play multiple characters (and objects), sometimes in the same scene. A great variety of vocal and physical traits will be required for these roles.

Audition/Callback Dates: Auditions - Monday, 7/13 and Tuesday, 7/14. Callbacks - Monday, 7/20 and Tuesday, 7/21.

Audition Times: Five minute appointment slots between 6-10:00pm each night. Callbacks will be held between 6-10:00pm on July 20-21, 2015
