Lawrence and Joanna, a brother and sister in their mid-twenties, have cut themselves off from the world "outside," living in a cluttered playroom which they share with two imaginary companions, "Edna" and "Claypone." Surrounded by toys, including a brightly colored miniature Ferris wheel, they have created an atmosphere of almost suffocating intimacy and remove, where play becomes the business of life and reality an alien force to be kept at bay. But life intrudes all the same, and their fantasies have betrayed them into Joanna's pregnancy. We are looking to cast the part of Joanna.
Seeking: Female - Age Range 22-30. Looking for an actress who is passionate about working moment to moment and is unafraid of taking risks.
We will be rehearsing throughout May. Performances will be on: June 4th - 7:30pm, June 11th - 7:30pm, June 18th - 7:30pm, June 25th - 7:30pm, We will more than likely add a Friday show to the schedule. We will begin rehearsals immediately. Rehearsals are tentatively happening on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. These times are subject to change.
